Two Foundational Prophecies

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the founding of the community „Umkehr zum Herrn“ (UzH) – „Return to the Lord“.

In retrosepct there were two foundational prophetic words which marked the beginning of the ecumenical community in 1977. Even to this day the encouragements and exhortations from these prophecies play an important role in the ongoing development of „Return to the Lord“.

Prophetic Name                                       April 9, 1977

Today, I have gone ahead of you and have opened the door for you. I have prepared everything for you and straightened the path for you. With open hands and stretched out arms, I am awaiting you. Give up all your securities and come. The only security that I can offer you is my covenant with you.

I give you the name “Return to the Lord”. But you should not yet carry this name. Wait for Me until I tell you that now is the time. But I am already telling it to you now, so that you will know what I expect from you. Then you shall carry this name and it should be a sign that the people around return to Me when they see how I minister.

Prophetic Foundation                                August 14, 1977   

You have praised me. Yes, your praise is lifted up to me. But, I have also seen your weaknesses and I have seen how small you are.
That is why, you are important to me, I say to you: Come, come today to me and receive the power.

Hear this word for I say: Darkness will fall over you and you will not know left from right. You will not see your hand in front of your eyes. Then you will need this power.
You will remember this day and you will cry because you did not sacrifice enough and did not kneel before me long enough.

The praise and the church (and your name) will tie us together. And if you are faithful, I will purify you and lead you to the light and your radiance will please my eyes.
